USMT 5 & PST paths in Outlook profiles

I am having difficulty with USMT in the following area.   My client has Outlook 2003 on Windows XP which will be migrated to Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 64-bit.   Many users have one or more network PST in their Outlook 2003 profiles.  We are using the standard MIGAPP, a modified MIGUSER and a PST XML (which simply copies any local PST files to the same location in Windows 7).

The problem is that when the user opens Outlook 2010, their Outlook profile PST mapping has been changed from network to local.  For example, if they opened "H:\MYFOLDERS.PST" in Outlook 2003, Outlook 2010 fails when it attempts to open "C;\MYFOLDERS.PST".  I know that Microsoft does not support network PSTs but the client intends to use them anyway.  Any idea how I can fix this behavior so Outlook 2010 opens with the network PST?  Thank you.
