Operating System Deployment -

Afternoon all,

Tearing my hair out here. Have succesfully tested OSD within a VMWare environment when the PXE service point was on the same box as the Primary Site Server, however I have enabled a Standard DP within a different subnet to become a PXE service point and it is all configured as per the technet guides.

When I try to PXE boot a machine i have imported in via Computer assoication

I get an abortpxe.com error message and

I get the this in the smspxe.log

MAC=00:8C:FA:2D:C9:2F SMBIOS GUID=80E6655C-563D-E211-90BF-008CFA2DC92F > Device found in the database. MacCount=1 GuidCount=0 smspxe 09/05/2013 13:31:05 2496 (0x09C0)

No Boot Action for Device (12177) found smspxe 09/05/2013 13:31:05 2496 (0x09C0)
ProcessDatabaseReply: No Advertisement found in Db for device smspxe 09/05/2013 13:31:05 2496 (0x09C0)

However I am 100% certain it:

Only exsists once in the database
It only exsists in a collection where I have an OSD task sequence Advertised to it
PXE/WDS is working fine
x86 and x64 images are on the PXE service point and the Standard DP

I have ten machines in front of me I am trying to deploy out to and all get the same error message.

What have i tried so far?

Removed PXE role and WDS using guides on one of the Technet configmgr blogs
Reinstalled WDS and the PXE role confirmed that the messages were a success and rebooted the server
Cleared PXE advertisments 100's of times
recreated my Task Sequence
Recreated my Advertisement

Things to note

DHCP Client and WDS/PXE Standard DP are all on one subnet
SCCM primary site server on another subnet

Any help would be much appreicated
