I am doing a Windows 7 OSD using SCCM 2007 that contains about 30 packaged applications that will instal as part of the TS. When I last did this I was using MDT 2010 and after each deployment to a pc I would recieve a results summary depicting either a white screen, Task Sequence ran succesfully, an amber screen, warning of problems but indicating that the TS had completed (due to continue on error being checked) or a red screen, failure to end task sequence. If the task sequence suffered problems, it gave a handy report on where it failed. My issue is that in SCCM, no such screen appears at the end of the deployment. If the deployment is succesfull it reboots to a log in screen but if one of the applications in the list fails it still reboots to the same log in page. I am aware of the logs that can be checked but my concern is that peeople will naturally assume the build has completed succesfully when in fact it is missing x amount of applications. Is there a way of using the MDT functions for an SCCM deployment?. I have the MDT toolkit integration installed so the same reports on the sccm server and the MDT server are available.
Thanks
