Prestart command settings - SCCM 2007 / MDT 2012

I am trying to create an HTA for my OSD task sequence to set some variables - computer name, optional software packages to deploy, etc.  I am running SCCM 2007 R3 and MDT 2012 Update 1.  I am following the instructions on windows-noob to create a boot image with HTA support:

http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1995-how-can-i-create-a-boot-image-with-hta-support-using-mdt/

My problem is that these instructions seem to have been written with MDT 2010; the screenshots do not match what I am seeing.  Specifically, I don't know what to do with the "Prestart command settings" section on the Customization screen of the "Create Boot Image using MDT" wizard (see screenshot below).  The "command line" defaults to "wscript.exe X:\Deploy\Scripts\ZTIMediaHook.wsf", but then I am required to fill out the field "Folder for prestart command files (writable UNC path)"  What is this field for?  Is it just a scratch work area for the boot image?  Do I need to put files in this UNC path?  If so, what would I put here?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
