Wireless Task Sequence Deployment

Hi Guys

I've been doing a lot of research on this, and from what I can find, people say it's possible, but they haven't tested it.

I am using SCCM 2012 here and we are able to deploy win7 and win8 fine to all of our computers at the moment. Unfortunately a lot of the new model laptops are coming without ethernet ports. We have considered a USB to Ethernet adapter, but this would mean that each device sharing the adapter will get the same ethernet mac address. What I would like to do then, is to boot the device via usb to winPE, with a wireless network configuration in the unattend file. Once the laptop gets to winPE though, no wireless drivers that I have inserted (and I have tried on multiple different machines) are working. An ethernet connection will appear on machines with an ethernet port, but despite installing the .inf file in the winPE, importing netsh wlan dlls, having the driver installed in the boot.wim for winPE, none of this lets me connect to a wireless network.

I am just looking for some direction, because I don't really know what I'm doing. If there is a better way to do it, or if what I'm trying to do is impossible, I would like to know.

I'm more than happy to provide more information if anything is unclear.

Thanks guys
