I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me with setting up the activation of Windows 7 and Office 2010 in our SCCM 2007 TS's.
I have read up on what needs to be in place for KMS activations and I have now installed a KMS server in our domain and as far as I can tell it is setup correctly.
I have identified that the 2 commands I need to run in my deploy TS are 'cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs /ato' and 'cscript.exe "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" /act' but both of these error when I run then from within the TS as a 'Run Command Line' step with the code 0x80072EE2.
I have ran these commands manually from an elevated command prompt on the system immediatley after the TS has failed and both commands work first time every time so I am pretty sure it is something about the way they are ran from within the TS that causes the failue.
I have tried using the 'Run this step as the following account' option using a domain account but with the same result and have also tried calling a .bat file to perform the commands but again this fails.
Has anybody else managed to achieve this and if so how?
