Running HP t5740e WES 7 Thin clients. I am working on capturing our standard WES 7 image with SCCM to push out to all new terminals. I followed the HP & MS documentation on creating my Capture media USB drive. I log onto the Thin
client with local administrator, and browse to the location on the drive to run tsmbautorun.exe. The wizard runs, and as soon as I click finish I see disk activity for about 5-10 minutes, system does not restart. I have taken the WES image down
to bare OS, tried running the .exe from cmd line, nothing seems to get it to reboot. After 10-15 minutes, we reboot the terminal and it goes through the sysprep wizard to configure the system. We tried the same USB media on a Windows 7 laptop,
and it performs as expected. The system rebooted itself, and started the SCCM capture. Looking at the C: drive after hitting Finish, I see the disk space go down about 500MB, but the drive still has over 1GB free. Can anyone shed
some light on getting this to work? Thanks in advance.
