Hi, I'm just wondering if anybody out there has any experience with what I am trying to do:
We are upgrading all of our WinXP machines to Win7. We are using SCCM OSD to push out the OS Image. I'm wondering if it is possible for my task sequence to take the existing data on the C: drive and move it to a newly created D: partition, leaving the C: partition blank. Then, Windows 7 can be installed fresh on the C: partition, but all of the XP data is not wiped out.
I can't quite wrap my head around this to see if its possible. I'm using SCCM 07 without MDT.
Management is very concerned about possible user data loss, so this could be a way to appease them.
Thanks in advance.
