We have a PowerShell script that is intended to silently install a SCOM RMS server on an x64 Windows 2008 OS. We execute the Task Sequence step using alternate credentials because the database that the RMS install points to is on another server. The MSI kicks off but ends prematurely. When we look at the log file it generates, it has the following lines:
- Client-side and UI is none or basic: Running entire install on the server
- Failed to grab execution mutex. System error 5
- Cloaking enabled
- Attempting to enable all disabled priviliges before calling install on server
- Incrementing counter to disable shutdown. Counter after increment: 0
- Decrementing counter to disable shutdown. If counter >=, shutdown will be denied
- MainEngineThread is returning 1603
